As She Grows........

To take pictures of my belly and our sweet growing girl, we went to Warrior's Path State Park in Kingsport to get some pretty shots.  My wonderful family went with us and Andy took all of the pictures.  We had lots of fun and took over 100 shots!  It will certainly be a memorable experience that we shared with our 1st blessing!

Easter 2011

This year was the first Easter without my Papaw.  It still gets to me many days to think of life here without him, but I am so thankful that he is healed and that he got to spend his first Easter with Jesus Christ our risen Lord on that day this year!  I am also thankful for our beautiful growing little girl, and the wonderful family that we spent Easter with this year!  Charlie even got to dye a green egg and open his Easter basket this year :0)

A Puppalicious Birthday!

Charlie is a pretty spoiled pup!  He has the sweet life to say the least!  For his second birthday we had a 101 Dalmatian party at his Grammy and Papa's house with his new Yorkie cousin Bear!  It was truly a Dalmatian Celebration to remember...

So much to tell, so little time.....

I expressed before how bad I am at keeping up with journal type things. Life gets to spinning too fast and I finally catch up half a year later! My school year at Providence will be over in two and a half weeks! I will miss my third graders! I can't wait for summer! I especially can't wait for August because that is when my little girl is due! I can't wait to see her face! More about her later, because her story deserves its own post! Rich and I are going to Charleston soon and Atlanta too! I always cherish our special trips together! I have the best husband in the world! Since I will be a stay at home mama soon, hopefully I can keep up my blog for a while.

Our Little Peanut - Lucy Cate

In November, after several  months of praying the "Prayer of Hannah,"  I took a pregnancy test.  I really wasn't expecting it to be positive, and as I laid on the bed with my Charlie Pup waiting for the results I prayed that the Lord would help me to be patient until His timing for a baby.  Imagine the overflowing joy when I saw the positive test result!  After flowing tears of praise to my Lord, I ran downstairs to grab the orange paint.  When Rich got home from his errands in town I rolled up my shirt and showed him my belly that said BABY VOL!  He was so excited!  After months of waiting, we found out that our baby "Peanut" is a GIRL!  Rich said girl all along, and we can't wait to meet her in August!   Our verse for her is Jeremiah 29:11, because God truly knows the plans He has for us, and we can't wait for the next chapter of our story together to begin!
